Your internship at Ecological Divers Tenerife
Ecological Divers Tenerife is your chance to enter the world of professional scuba diving.
As an official training centre of the organizations TDI and SDI we can offer you professional and internationally recognized training to be a dive professional.
We offer you various options.
Of course, there is the possibility to do these courses with us in the traditional way, but we can also offer to do this training with us in the form of an internship.
What does internship mean?
Internship takes a longer time, compared to a normal course. Usually a professional course is between five and ten days. Internship depends on your level of training at the beginning, it can take two to three months, but of course it is a lot cheaper. This is because you complete it by "learning by doing" under the supervision of the Dive Centre. Also, on the way, you will accumulate much more experience than on a short course.
From Zero to Hero?
Absolutely no way. We cannot, and do not make that promise. In our view, a divemaster or instructor needs experience that you cannot acquire in a short time. We offer you a good education, and a professional qualification, with which you can work worldwide.
Your basic requirements?
You should have at least Advanced Open Water Diver from a recognized training organization or a CMAS 2 * qualification.
As a dive professional, your own equipment is a must. If you do not have a complete set of equipment, we are happy to help you at special prices to complete your equipment purchases.
In addition, languages would be great. English is a prerequisite, as is a further language, German, Hungarian or another one. Basic Spanish knowledge would be of great help to you personally staying on Tenerife.
Medical Certification and professional diving insurance are a must in Spain. If you do not have them, you can do them here, too.
What do we offer you?
Excellent training with an internationally known and well-regarded dive centre.
A written agreement for training that, when you succeed, enables you to work internationally in diving.
The costs of the training are borne by us in the internship. You only have to pay the TDI/SDI fees for the training materials and certifications.
Also, you will not just be carrying air cylinders, making the tea and other manual work with us. You be involved in everything, just like the rest of us.
With us you are trained, not exploited.
